Squad return to training on Monday
The Valencia CF squad returned to the Ciudad Deportiva on Monday, the morning after their Copa del Rey victory over AD Alcorcón, for a session to train for their next contest. The team will be back in action on Thursday in LaLiga, taking on CA Osasuna in an important fixture for Javi Gracia’s men.
The group were split into two, with starters from the Copa del Rey game working out in the gym. Those who featured off the bench or did not travel to Madrid were put through their paces on the training pitch by the coaching staff.
José Luis Gayà joined up with the squad following several days of solo training, as did Gabriel Paulista and Kevin Gameiro as they move into the final stretch of their respective recoveries from injury.
